Care & Use

Dishwasher Safe
We recommend using a non-fragrant, non-citrus, non-abrasive detergent on the air-dry cycle (or econo heat when available). Avoid overloading the dishwasher and position pieces so they do not touch during high-pressure washing. Dry thoroughly before storing.

Microwave Safe
Due to the handmade nature and natural clays used in VIETRI pieces, temperatures may vary after microwave use. Always use a pot holder or oven mitt when handling a heated mug, keep heated products away from children, never microwave the mug without food or liquid inside, and allow it to cool before removing it from the microwave.

Freezer Safe
The mug can withstand freezing temperatures. Allow it to return to room temperature before placing it in the oven.

Oven Safe
VIETRI stoneware is heat resistant up to 400°F. Do not place the mug directly from the refrigerator into a hot oven or directly from the oven into the freezer. Hot pieces should always be placed on a cool, dry, protected surface.

The Lastra collection reflects the creative vision of Stefano Roselli, an Italian maestro molder whose lifelong passion for clay and ceramics has helped shape many of VIETRI's beloved collections.

Born in Italy in 1957, Stefano began his artistic career in 1972 working with candle and wax molds before transitioning to ceramics. After years of mastering the nuances of different clays and ceramic techniques, he became a maestro molder in 1989. Today, he leads the creative design process for many VIETRI collections, blending traditional Italian craftsmanship with an innovative artistic perspective.
