Meet the Artisan: Gianluca Fabbro

Maestro artisan Gianluca Fabbro has worked with ceramics for more than 30 years, carrying on a family tradition learned from his father and grandfather. His passion for painting and nature inspires the distinctive ceramic designs he creates for VIETRI. Gianluca is particularly known for developing a unique sponging technique used to handpaint charming, expressive patterns onto ceramic pieces.

Care

Dishwasher Safe: We recommend using a non-fragrant, non-citrus, non-abrasive detergent on the air-dry cycle (or econo heat when available). Avoid allowing pieces to touch during the high-pressure dishwasher cycle, and do not overload the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly before storing.

Microwave Safe: Due to the handmade nature of VIETRI pieces and the use of natural clays, temperatures may vary after microwave use. Always use a potholder or oven mitt when handling a heated piece. Do not allow children to handle products heated in a microwave. Never microwave the piece without food or liquid inside, and allow it to cool before removing it from the microwave.
